The XR mobil-e, designed and manufactured by Untha of Austria, is claimed to be 'the first machine of its kind' to shred with a low-power electric drive. Owing to its on-board auxiliary power pack, it can be moved easily around a production facility. The XR mobil-e delivers 'high throughputs, low operating costs, energy efficiency, low noise, foreign object protection and ease of maintenance', according to Untha.
